OpenAI has announced the release of the ChatGPT app for Android. It was available for pre-order from 21 July.

According to the company, the app can synchronise history between devices. A similar function is supported by the iOS service launched in May.
In July, the developers of ChatGPT released a new plug-in for the paid version that can analyse data, create Python code, build graphs and solve mathematical problems. The chatbot managed to scientifically disprove the “flat Earth” theory.
Later, researchers from Stanford and the University of California found out that the latest ChatGPT models began to give less accurate answers to an identical series of questions after several months.
Recall that between May and June, global chatbot traffic dropped by 10%, and the number of unique users – by 5.7%.
