The attackers gained control of DEX Uniswap creator Hayden Adams’ Twitter account and left a link to a fraudulent website registered in Russia.

The suspicious post urged UniswapX users to check if they were eligible to receive “UNI gift tokens” by going to the phishing page.
One commenter noted that the website was registered on the day of the hack in a Russian domain zone.
The post by the developer of the decentralised exchange was later removed. However, other phishing postings appeared afterwards.
About nine hours later, Adams reported that access to the account had been restored.
Earlier, hackers attacked the Twitter account of Circle’s Chief Strategy Officer Dante Disparte to promote a fake airdrop.
